Privacy Policy - Scheduler

Scheduler ("the App") is a personal daily-planning app that lets you create schedules and, optionally, sync them to your Google Calendar. This page explains what data the App collects, why, and how it is used.

1. Information We Collect

• Google Account Information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile info (name, email address, and a unique account ID) via Google Sign-In.
• Schedule Data: titles, dates, times, and tasks you create in the App are stored so the App can display them back to you.
• Google Calendar Access: if you enable "Sync to Google Calendar", the App is granted permission to create calendar events on your behalf, limited to events the App itself creates (the calendar.events scope). The App does not read your existing calendar events.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To let you sign in and identify your own schedules.
• To display, store, and let you manage the schedules you create.
• To create calendar events on your Google Calendar when you choose to sync a schedule.
• To send you local reminder notifications on your device before a scheduled activity starts.

3. Data Storage

Schedule data and account identifiers are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), a cloud database service. Reminder notifications are scheduled locally on your device and are not sent through any third-party push service.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal information with third parties, except:

• Google, as necessary to provide Sign-In and Calendar sync functionality.
• Firebase (Google Cloud), which hosts our database infrastructure.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Your schedule data is retained until you delete it within the App or contact us to request deletion of your account data. You may revoke the App's access to your Google Account at any time via your Google Account permissions page.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
